Making Memories Fund
Children’s Home Society (CHS) serves children who are victims of abuse, neglect or domestic violence. CHS also partners with parents to help children with mental health issues or emotional/ behavioral problems.
The goal of the Making Memories Fund is to provide fun outings and activities for children served through the different programs of CHS. We aim to give children experiences that will create happy memories.
Examples of fun activities funded include:
- Swimming passes and swimming lessons
- Summer camps and church youth group camps
- Birthday parties and gifts
- Family vacations and outings such as the Omaha Zoo, Mall of America or Wild Water West
- Sports and athletic activities such as taekwondo, football, soccer, gymnastics and volleyball (fees, lessons, shoes, etc.)
- Inflatables for a summer fun day
- Ice cream treats
