    Christie Lueth

    Clinical Director of Outpatient Therapy

    Master of Social Work (MSW), Certified Social Worker in Private or Independent Practice (CSW-PIP) and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

    Christie earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Social Work from the University of South Dakota and has continued her professional development through specialized training in Early Childhood and Play Therapy at South Dakota State University.

    With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Christie has demonstrated a strong commitment to trauma-informed care, early childhood mental health and leadership in behavioral health services. She spent 18 years at Southeastern Behavioral Health, serving in several leadership roles including Clinical Director, and most recently was Behavioral Health Therapist with Sanford Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic. Christie’s clinical approach is rooted in Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Person-Centered practices.

    Christie has served as Board President for NAMI South Dakota and as a member of the South Dakota Behavioral Health Advisory Committee. 

    Outside of work, Christie enjoys traveling with her family, reading, spending time at the dog park, experimenting with new recipes and going for walks.

    Brian Wilson, DO

    Psychiatrist
    Rapid City, SD

    Board-certified in Psychiatry and board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

    Born and raised in eastern South Dakota, Dr. Wilson graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University with a degree in Psychology. Dr. Wilson earned a degree in Biomedical Science and a master's degree in Behavioral Medicine at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN, where he met his wife, Petra.

    Dr. Wilson graduated from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School. He completed the University of South Dakota Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship programs and another fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry.

    He practiced in Yankton, SD, for three years and in Hot Springs, SD, for nine years. He established an outpatient Psychiatry program, covered multiple geriatric facilities and worked in an administrative role. He began working with Children's Home Society (CHS) in 2017 and joined CHS full time in July 2024.

    Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and the theater, hot air ballooning, hunting, fishing, boating, hiking and other outdoor activities.

    Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) 

    Monica earned her degree in English from Chadron State College and her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked at Black Hills Children’s Home, where she found passion in helping others work through trauma, stress and life changes.

    Today, Monica has more than 10 years of experience working with at-risk youth, adults and families at various organizations in the Black Hills area. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is an NTI Adoption Competent Therapist. These experiences have taught her that the family and individual are the experts.

    In her free time, Monica enjoys going on adventures in the Black Hills.

    Loree Crawford

    Family Engagement Specialist

    Certified Social Worker (CSW) and Certified Community Health Worker

    A native of the Black Hills area, Loree graduated from Black Hills State University in 2005 with her BS in elementary education and special education. She has 48 years of experience working with families through many areas of service. Loree has been with CHS serving children and families in a variety of capacities since 2003.

    Loree has been married to Doug Crawford for 47 years. They enjoy watching racing of all types, especially dirt track racing. They are involved with the Black Hills Speedway Hall of Fame and the history of racing in the Rapid City area. Loree and Doug have two grown children, Chris and Erin Crawford.

    Jenica Woods

    Community Health Worker Team Lead
    Rapid City, SD

    Jenica Woods is the Family Development Specialist. She is from Colorado but has called South Dakota her home for almost a decade. Jenica received her bachelor’s degree in non-profit communication from Colorado State University and her master’s degree in early childhood education. Jenica is also a Licensed Social Work Associate and Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practioner.

    Jenica has worked with youth in many different capacities. She has taught pre-school and worked with teenagers for 10 years and has worked with youth experiencing foster care for the past seven years. Jenica’s responsibilities as the Family Development Specialist include training and education for adoptive and foster families. Jenica also works to recruit and license families interested in pursuing foster care. Jenica is a current foster parent and can share her foster care experiences with families in training.

    In her free time, Jenica enjoys being outdoors with her dog Reggie Wade. Jenica and Reggie paddle board, camp and enjoy hiking as much as they can. Jenica and Reggie are working on their goal of visiting each of the National Parks throughout the U.S.

    Marty Krause

    Case Manager
    Rapid City, SD
    Marty Krause is a Children's Home Society Case Manager embedded in the Rapid City Police Department's Community Engagement Team. Marty assists with difficult cases by referring children and families to Children's Home Society services, such as Outpatient Mental Health or Residential Treatment, as well as making referrals to CHS Psychiatrist Dr. Brian Wilson. 

    Previously Marty was the Director of Adult Diversion Programs at the Pennington County State’s Attorney’s office. Marty also has experience in law enforcement, business management and operations and served as VP of Operations for BH Services, Inc.
