Artist in Residence: Dallas Chief Eagle
Artist in Residence Dallas Chief Eagle is coming soon to teach and perform on both campuses. Dallas will be in the SFCH campus classrooms October 23–26 from 9 am–12 pm. Plan to attend the special all-campus assembly and performance on Thursday afternoon, October 26. Watch for details.
He will be at the BHCH campus November 6–9 with the same schedule of events.

NOW OPEN for Business: CHS Apparel Store
The CHS Apparel Store opens for business this Friday, October 20. New this fall: an updated version of the logo for Loving School Wolves in the SpiritWear section. From hats to hoodies, there’s something for everyone!
The store is organized by categories and subcategories:
• Shelter for Family Safety (Men’s/Unisex, Ladies, Headwear, Bags)
• CHS (Men’s/Unisex, Ladies, Headwear, Bags)
• School Spirit Wear (Bison and Wolves)
• Stand for Good (Men’s/Unisex, Ladies)

The store will then be closed for production and delivery time. You may save on shipping by having your apparel sent to one of the four campuses: SFCH, BHCH, Messengers, or Shelter for Family Safety.

Quarterly Check-ins DueRemember to finish your Q1 quarterly check-ins by Tuesday, October 31.
Supervisors will meet with full-time employees to review yearly goals and to complete the Q1 process in Paylocity. Part-time, relief and intern staff do not have a formalized Q1 check-in.

CONGRATULATIONS, BRANDT AND JEN!
Occupational Therapist Jen Crisp-Griebel reports that her son, Brandt Griebel, played this past weekend in the Class A Boys Soccer Championship. He and the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers went undefeated all season to win the State Championship 4:2 against Tea.

CHS REPRESENTED AT STEM CONFERENCE
Director of Residential Treatment Ondrea Patzlaff staffed a CHS booth at the Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons STEM
BIG Event on Saturday, October 14, held at the Expo Center in Sioux Falls. The event hosted children in Girl Scouts, grades K-12 and their families. More than 500 people were in attendance.
“The CHS booth focused on mental health, specifically what happens in our brains when we ‘flip our lid’ and get stuck in the emotive part of our brain,” said Ondrea.
