Happy Birthday to Us!

On November 15, staff at the Shelter for Family Safety celebrated their first birthday in the new building on St. Paul Avenue in Sioux Falls. Cupcakes, balloons and streamers adorned the Shelter as staff remembered the process of planning, watching the building going up, taking their first tours and, of course, moving in on November 15, 2022.

This week’s question to Ask Us: 

Being a part of the CHS team, as a bonus, could we please get a free membership to Costco? Other companies have invested in their employees by giving them a free membership to Costco. A lot of employees here have families and we work with kids, so it would just make sense to have an “in” at Costco for Children Home Society workers. We do a lot here and have a lot going outside as well. It would be so helpful and nice to be able to utilize a membership that helps with cost on everyday things. It’s not asking for a mile, it’s not asking for a billion dollars, it’s not asking for the world, it’s just asking for a Costco membership.
