EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR and RISING STAR AWARDS
Nominate a Co-Worker
You are invited and encouraged to nominate co-workers for the 2023 Employee of the Year and Rising Star awards. One person will be honored for each award.
This honor began in 2001 when Dr. Joe and Amy Cass started an endowment to assist in funding the awards.
These annual awards recognize and reward the outstanding employees represented in two categories: CHS Employee of the Year CHS Rising Star of the Year.
One $2,000 cash award will be given to the CHS Employee of the Year, and one $500 cash award will be given to the CHS Rising Star of the Year.

Save the date for one of these upcoming Employee Appreciation Events. There will be food, entertainment, door prizes and time for you to enjoy the company of your co-workers.

Kara Flynn Joins CHS
Starting January 16, Kara Flynn will join the team as our Director of Development, based in the Black Hills. Kara is one of our own, as she currently serves on the CHF Board of Directors.
She is knowledgeable and passionate about our mission. Kara is a devoted champion of helping kids, coming to us from Rapid City Public School Foundation. As we begin our journey with a new campaign for our renovated facility, we are thrilled to have Kara join the team!

Supervisors have until January 20 to meet with their employees and complete the reviews in Paylocity. The quarterly review will cover:
1. Role Accountabilities
2. CHS Values
3. Goals
Q2 check-ins will be for all staff; full-time, parttime, relief and interns. If you have questions, please contact your supervisor or HR.
