Still Time to Sign Up for Funski Events
The snow is great for the Media One Funski, which benefits Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety! Come to Great Bear Ski Valley on January 20-21 where there is something for everyone!

“We’d love to see more CHS staff participating in Funski,” says CEO Michelle Lavallee. “Many of the events call for teams—so grab a few co-workers, family or friends and show us your stuff!”

CHS To Host Empower Retirement Sessions
The CHS retirement plan is now administered by Empower (previously Mass Mutual). Set up your Empower retirement account by downloading the Empower Enrollment Guide 2023.pdf in the GOOD WORKS Portal under HR > retirement planning.

CHS will host retirement planning sessions for all employees on each side of the state. Watch for more information to come next week.

Quarterly Check-ins Due January 20
A reminder to supervisors: Check in with your staff to review and discuss 2023 goals. This is an essential part of Performance Management to ensure staff are getting regular feedback. Check- ins are due Friday, January 20.

The Fire Department won the Heroes Behind the Badges Blood Drive competition this year! The final votes tally: Fire–598 and Police—546. CHS is the Fire Department’s charity and will receive $1,000. Thanks to all who donated blood.
