Congratulations to the following winners for Employee of the Month at Black Hills area campuses:

Michelle Bintliff: Michelle is covering for our nurse that is out and has been juggling many things. She is getting all medication-certified staff trained on our new medication system. We ended up having a child that was not feeling well in the midst of all of this and Michelle watched him for the majority of the day. I observed the way she was speaking to him and it was very kind and compassionate. Michelle was also asked to pick up some extra projects during this week for compliance checks and she did this with a good attitude.

Stephanie Gallagher: Thanks Stephanie for coming in and working my shift when I was out sick. You have always been someone we can count on to work extra shifts when needed.

Rachel Walton: Rachel Walton has been willing to put in the extra work and time to provide our families with TBRI training. Rachel is willing to collaborate with the other therapists to offer this to all our families, not just the families that she is currently working with. Rachel has been flexible when it comes to accommodating multiple families, many of whom she has not met, who all have various schedules. Rachel has shown tenacity in following-through with this and making this a priority, even when other issues have come up that have required her attention, and for working to ensure that the kids and families we work with are gaining the tools and education they need. I appreciate Rachel for being willing to provide this much needed training, as I believe it will serve our kids and families well!

Janice Lee: Janice stayed late and helped me take down the wall in the conference room before a parenting class. She also helped me with the copier when it was jammed.

Congratulations to the following winners for Employee of the Month at Sioux Falls Children’s Home campus:

Carol Amussen: Crash! (sounds of glass shattering). Rick and Carol came to my office as soon as they heard this sound. I had bumped the clock I had won from Monday's lunch, and it fell over onto the corner of a box, breaking the glass out of the face of the large clock. Rick helped me pick up pieces and shards of glass and Carol brought down the vacuum and sucked up the remaining pieces. Thank you, Carol for taking the time to help me with this!
