Luna Moon

I adopted Luna from the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society in November 2017. She was 1.5 years old and she had been in the shelter for six months. I actually adopted her on Black Friday! They included her in their “Black Friday Sale” even though her grey fur barely counts as black. ;) She was already named Luna at the shelter, and I decided it suited her well enough and added the “moon” at the end since luna means moon in Spanish.

Luna is a Dilute Calico, and she is a cuddle queen who is VERY vocal about wanting food or attention. She loves lazy weekends and long TV sessions – if someone is sitting still, she WILL lay on them.

Age: 5.5 years

Favorite food: Chicken or anything mom is eating

Favorite nap spot: Any fuzzy blanket or mom when she’s home

Favorite toy: feathered wand toy – she’ll chase after it for hours!

Favorite activity: laying on mom while she scrolls Instagram or watches TV

Naughtiest habit: clawing the furniture

Biggest pet peeve: when she doesn’t get a bite of mom’s food
