Thanks for your Ask Us questions. We also encourage you to pose questions first to your supervisors, when possible. They have more understanding of specifics within your department.
Q: Do the add-on comments in the Employee Engagement Survey get reviewed/taken seriously?
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, comments on the engagement survey are important and taken seriously. We believe that they provide qualitative insights that go beyond the structured questions, offering a deeper understanding of employee experiences, concerns, and suggestions. Comments allow employees to elaborate on their ratings, giving context to the quantitative data and highlighting specific issues that may not be captured by answers that are rated one through five. Comments can reveal patterns of dissatisfaction or areas of strength that the survey questions may not fully address, enabling leaders to take targeted actions. Additionally, CHS values employee voices. We believe that offering opportunities for open-ended feedback demonstrates a fostering of trust and shows a commitment to improving the workplace based on employee input. We appreciate everyone taking the time to complete the survey to make our work culture better.
