On my most recent paystub it shows 3 different shift differential rate. what are these and why do I not know I was getting this?

Thanks for your question. As we were excited to share at the most recent CHS All Hands Meeting, we have moved to the new Shift Differential Policy beginning July 1.

This new policy allows us to standardize compensation for those hourly (non-exempt) employees who work night, overnight and weekend shifts. The pay codes related to the Shift Differential Pay policy are as follows: ShifD = $1.00/hr. night differential; SD2 = $1.50/hr. overnight differential and SD3 = $2.00/hr. weekend differential.
