2023 marks the 28^th anniversary of the Caring For The Kids Celebration and Golf Classic. And that means you have a stellar opportunity to use your Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to help out at these events!

Caring For The Kids is a major fundraising event for CHS, which brought in more than $497,000 in 2022. Funds support the programs and services that CHS provides. Fully one-third of the CHS budget comes from charitable support.

Caring For The Kids Celebration
Sioux Falls Convention Center

Monday, August 7
Caring for the Kids Golf Classic
The Country Club of Sioux Falls

Volunteers Needed

Caring for the Kids could not happen without volunteer support, and we need your help again this year! Below are a few of the ways you can be part of the fun. We ask staff first before looking for outside volunteers. Typically, quite a few employees enjoy volunteering at this event.

If you are interested in volunteering and the event happens during your regular work hours, you will need to check with your supervisor to request using VTO. Spouses are also welcome to volunteer at either event.

If you are willing to help or have any questions, please email Tammy Roberts and indicate your area of interest by Thursday, June 15.

If you volunteered at the Caring for Kids Celebration or Golf Classic last year, please let Tammy know if you still have your shirt. If you are new to the event, please provide your shirt size.
