United Way Week Fast Approaching

BHCH and SFCH, get ready for a week of fun and games because United Way Week is fast approaching! United Way is an organization that strives to bring people together to build strong communities where everyone can grow and thrive. Nearly 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly back to local community programs and services, including our Shelter for Family Safety.

BHCH United Way Week

Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, oh my! BHCH crew, get ready to celebrate all the holidays with your theme of HalloThankMas. You will kick off your United Way Week next Wednesday, October 30. Get excited for some fun, games and…pie? Keep an eye out for your pledge cards!

BHCH Dress-up Days

  • Wednesday, Oct. 30: Unity Day–Each group will pick a theme and if everyone participates in your group you get an extra ticket.
    • Groups: East Unit, West Unit, Therapists, Admin & Medical, School, Maintenance and Dining.
  • Thursday, Oct. 31: Halloween Costume
  • Friday, Nov. 1: Sports/Jersey Day
  • Monday, Nov. 4: Crazy Fall Shirt, Socks or Hat Day
  • Tuesday, Nov. 5: Christmas Sweater/ Shirt Day
  • Wednesday, Nov. 6: CHS Pride Day

SFCH United Way Week

SFCH crew, are you ready for a spooktacular week of fun? United Way Week will kick off this Wednesday, October 23. Don’t forget to turn in your pledge cards! The earlier you turn them in, the more raffle tickets you will get. Below are pledge card and dress-up day information.

Turn in Pledge Cards for Raffle Tickets

Turn in by Oct. 23: Get 10 raffle Tickets

Turn in by Oct. 24: Get 8 Raffle Tickets

Turn in by Oct. 25: Get 6 Raffle Tickets

Turn in by Oct. 28: Get 4 Raffle Tickets

Turn in after Oct. 29: Get 2 Raffle Tickets

  • Thursday, Oct. 24: Crazy Sock Day
  • Friday, Oct. 25: Sports/Jersey Day

Pledge Cards

All employees will be given pledge cards, which are an easy way for you to give to United Way. Staff can choose to either have money deducted from their paychecks or do a one-time cash or check gift.
