Jaren Fountain had two passions in life—helping others and shoes. Even after his tragic passing, his two greatest loves continue to help others and change soles—one pair at a time.

This year’s sixth annual JJ’s Kicks 4 Kids was a huge success! The annual shoe drive brought in 320 pairs of shoes and 953 pairs of socks for children on the SFCH campus.

During the shoe drop-off, two lucky SFCH kiddos got to peek at the shoes as a reward for good behavior and picked out their favorite pairs. Last week, other SFCH kiddos had the opportunity to do the same thing.

We are so grateful to Jaren’s mom and stepdad, Julie and Lee Arnold, our friends at Orthopedic Institute and community members for their generous donation and for helping us ensure that our kiddos put their best feet forward!

Jaren’s family and friends, representatives from Orthopedic Institute and CHS staff all gathered in front of this year’s JJ’s Kicks 4 Kids donation. This year’s collection included 320 pairs of shoes and 953 pairs of socks.
