SF CHS Team Didn’t Chicken Out of the Plunge

The Sioux Falls CHS Polar Plunge team didn’t chicken out of jumping into icy water for Special Olympics at the Sioux Falls Polar Plunge on April 12. The SFCH and Shelter team raised $2,005! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped cheer on the team.

- Sarah Crager, Zach Valen and Alex Vande Griend were unfortunately unable to make it to the Polar Plunge; however, they were still a part of the SF CHS team and helped raise money for Special Olympics.
JaeLynn Garry, Katie Underberg, Paola Rodriguez, Allison Sanderson, Krystal Schoenbauer, Faron Lais, Katelynn Beldin and Peter Fixsel braved frigid waters to support Special Olympics South Dakota. The group dressed up as a chicken, Easter eggs and egg collectors.
75 brave plungers leaped into the 55-degree water on April 12. After waiting 20 minutes, the CHS team was excited to finally take the plunge!
