Meet the newest members of the CHS family

We hope you will enjoy these introductions to the most recent additions to our staff. Most of us can still remember how overwhelming those first days can be. So, look out for these folks, introduce yourself and offer a warm welcome!

Shelter for Family Safety

Jaimie Roggenbauer

Jenna Roach
Intern

Hometown: Sioux Falls, SD

Hobbies: I enjoy taking my dog for walks, crafting, doing hot yoga, listening to music, and spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family.

What motivates you at work? The support of my coworkers and knowing that what I do makes a difference in someone’s life.

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Greece.

The best advice I’ve ever been given is to move at a gentle pace and let go of the need to hurry.

One of the items on my bucket list is traveling to Norway to visit a friend.

Naomi Stanley
Youth Care Provider

Ruth Leadum

Assistant Program Supervisor

Hometown: Everywhere (I’m an Army brat)

Hobbies: I love reading watching old reruns, attending music festivals and spending time with my kids.

What motivates you at work? Being able to help others.

What’s your idea of a perfect day? Waking up to a spotless house, cooking a great meal and hanging out with my family. Then, after everyone leaves, curling up for a nap.

How would your friends describe you? Silly—sometimes too quiet, sometimes too loud—and someone who marches to the beat of her own drum.

A little-known fact about me is that I was a competitive swimmer most of my life, and I’ve also lived in Saudi Arabia.

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Brazil to visit family and Holland to see my brother, whom I haven’t seen in 27 years.

The best advice I’ve ever been given is to be authentically yourself. Those who mind don't matter and those who matter, don't mind.

The last great TV show/movie I saw: “A Bronx Tale.”

If I didn’t have to work, I would travel the world with my kids.
