Open Enrollment Meetings Coming Soon!
Open Enrollment starts next week: October 23 through November 1.
This is your time to add, cancel or update your benefits for 2025. There are a few changes this year–the major one is Active Open Enrollment, which means all employees must log in to Paylocity and select their benefits by Friday, November 1.
Please join representatives from Hub International and Human Resources for an Open Enrollment meeting highlighting this year’s benefit options. We will review the Benefits Guide, the Summary of Benefits and Coverage, and answer questions. Meeting dates and times are:
- Rockerville: October 23, at 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.
- Rapid City Campus: October 24, at 2 p.m.
- Shelter For Family Safety: October 29, at 8 a.m. & 3 p.m.
- Sioux Falls Main Campus: October 30, at 1:30 p.m. & 3:05 p.m.

ASK US: A Note From President and CEO Michelle Lavalle
Dear Team Members:
In the past week, we received eight Ask Us questions, which all arrived at the same time. They were submitted during the last four months, with some dated as far back as June. To ensure confidentiality, we use an external web hosting company to receive and forward the submissions. The same problem occurred with emails requesting adoption records and inquiries about volunteering; four months’ worth of emails arrived last week. The external company is working with our IT department to find out why the emails were not forwarded immediately.
Questions related to Residential and School matters will be addressed at all-staff meetings with Deanna and Malia on Wednesday, October 16.
Here are responses to the other questions:
