Good Works Weekly
It’s here! It’s here! Take that turkey out of the freezer because Thanksgiving week is finally here! With all the hustle and bustle this week brings, we hope you can take a moment–even if it’s when you are sitting down to eat your turkey dinner–to reflect on the things that matter the most.
Here at CHS, we are most thankful for you, our amazing employees! The hard work, dedication and can-do spirit that you all bring to CHS daily is not only contagious but inspirational.
We wish you all a spectacular holiday filled with good vibes, loved ones and delicious food! Happy Thanksgiving, CHS!
Amazing news was shared at the latest All Hands meeting! CAO Mark Niemeyer announced that the Jolly Lane campus is officially off the market. The goal is to have everyone moved out of Jolly Lane and into the new Rapid City campus by January 1, 2025.
The CHS Board will convene on January 30, to vote on the approval of the construction budget and operations at Jolly Lane will cease on January 31.
Initially, all departments will be in a temporary spot due to construction. Click here to review the building plans and see where
each department will be temporarily located.

All day she had been thrown into situations with no training or assistance. “This was what I wanted to do but after the first couple of hours, I was thinking, ‘Oh my, what have I done here?’” she laughed.
Sue came back the next day and continued to return for the next 16,000+ days. And this coming Wednesday, November 27, will be her last day at CHS.
