Look Who Joined The Fold This Week

The therapist team at Shelter For Family Safety hosted a Join the Fold event for staff and clients. Together, they made over 100 swans!

Organizer Jeanne Weyen said, “We left the paper and instructions out at the HUB desk so that people are encouraged to continue to make even more. They love the idea of their swans being added to a structure being made by an artist.”

We invite everyone to Join The Fold! Please encourage your friends, family, church group, professional club, civic group or book club to fold swans and cranes for our community art project.

To learn more, visit our website and download folding instructions. Origami paper is available at each CHS location’s reception area, and you can drop off folded birds there.

Submit photos of your department or family to news@chssd.org. We’ll feature it in GOOD WORKS and our website.

New Sioux Falls Dining Hall Featured on KELO

The construction project on the Sioux Falls campus is almost complete! Employees were astonished last week by the new parking spaces near the Admin building and the beautiful drop-off area for children arriving for day school.

Eye on KELOLAND reporter Travis Fossing filed an excellent news story about the project, which you can view here. Thanks to everyone who has helped make this project successful!
