CHS Phone Etiquette Reminder
We are the voices of CHS when answering phones. There are times when phones may need to be temporarily rolled to other offices/buildings, and they should be answered in a professional manner.

For example, you could say: “Children’s Home, this is (your name), can I help you?” If you don’t know an answer, you can say: “Let me find someone who can assist you; please hold.”

Register Your Health Savings Account
Whether you’re newly enrolling in the high deductible health plan with HSA or have been enrolled and never activated your account, do so today! Go to wexinc. com > click Login > Benefit Accounts, HSA, FSA, HRA/ Wellness & Commuter > Get Started. Here you’ll
be able to view your account balance, designate a beneficiary, upload receipts, manage your expenses and much more.

Bloodmobile Coming to SFCH
The Bloodmobile will be at SFCH on Wednesday, January 4 from 7:30 - 11:00 am. Please consider donating blood on that day. There are still spots available. Sign up by using the following link:

The Police Department and the Fire Department each select a charitable organization for the Heroes Behind the Badges blood drive competition. The Fire Department’s charity is Children’s Home Society and the Police Department’s choice is Special Olympics.

Each charitable organization receives some cash donations from sponsors. If the Fire Department gets the most “votes” through blood donations, CHS will receive around $1,000. If the Police Department gets more votes than the Fire Department, CHS will receive about $500.

Not only does donating blood save lives, it can help create a larger donation for CHS!

Safety Reminder
At CHS we have a policy of backing into our parking spaces. All research indicates fewer accidents occur when we back into our parking spots. Thanks for your help in looking out for our kiddos and each other.
