Quarterly Check-ins
It’s time for supervisors to check in with staff to review and discuss 2023 goals. On December 20 you will receive a notification to begin quarterly reviews. Check- ins are due on January 23, 2023.

Take Time to Check Your Address!
With the closing of the year, it’s important that employees ensure their addresses are correct in Paylocity for end of the year mailings (W-2, 1095-C, etc.). Please review your address in Paylocity and make any necessary updates.

It’s another busy week filled with Christmas activities at both Black Hills and Sioux Falls Children’s Home.

As a reminder, please do not park in front of the Sioux Falls Admin building. These spaces are reserved for visitors and guests.

Christmas Eve/Morning Gift Wrapping

Friday, December 16
Volunteers and staff wrap Christmas Eve gifts for residential kids and day students.

Day student gifts will be sent home on December 16. Christmas Eve gifts will be delivered to units to be placed under the trees.

Monday, December 19
On December 19, Christmas morning gifts are wrapped. Please make arrangements with maintenance to determine where your unit’s gifts will be stored.

Tuesday, December 20
At 11:00 am, Christmas stockings will be assembled for all units.

At 1:00 pm unit directors, therapists, and teachers can select items for client use.

At 10:00 am, the Black Hills Children’s Home/Owen School Christmas Program “Tracking Santa” begins.

Thursday, December 22
From 11:45–2:30 pm, Owen School students take a field trip to the 1880 Train.

Reminder for Booking Rooms
The Room With a View and Room With a Kitchen in the Sioux Falls Admin building are unavailable through December as these rooms are booked for Christmas activities.
