Gala Event Raises $75,000 for CAC

The 29th Annual Making a Difference for Generations Gala was held March 2 in Rapid City. This year’s event, which benefits Children’s Home Child Advocacy Center, netted over $75,000. Event hosts Rotary Club of Rapid City Rushmore and Xanterra Travel Collection have raised more than $2,156,180 over the past 35 years to support Children’s Home Society programs in the Black Hills.

As a special treat, entertainer Craig Karges gave a performance for the children at Black Hills Children’s Home on Saturday. He is shown here performing a magic money trick with Residential Youth Counselor, Lexi, who works on the BHCH East Unit.
