COVID-19 Vaccination Available to All CHS Staff!

We are excited to announce that CHS has been classified as a tier 1C organization which qualifies all staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine immediately. Because we want you to stay healthy and feel strongly about keeping our staff and our clients safe during this pandemic, we encourage everyone to get vaccinated. While getting the COVID-19 vaccine is not a requirement of employment, we have decided to offer 8 hours of PTO as incentive to complete the vaccination schedule. Simply provide proof of your vaccination records after your second shot, and 8 hours of PTO will be added to your total rewards package. Please send a photo of yourself getting the vaccine or with your vaccination card to news@chssd.org.

Updated details regarding the incentive:

1. The incentive is being extended through the end of calendar year 2021. This is being done to compensate for vaccine supply challenges and to ensure that all CHS employees have the opportunity to participate in this incentive if they so choose.  
2. For sake of clarity and understanding, full time employees that demonstrate proof of the COVID vaccination will receive 8 hours of PTO added to their current PTO balance. Part time and relief employees that demonstrate proof of the COVID vaccination will receive 8 hours of pay equivalent to their current rate of pay.
3. Please provide your COVID vaccination confirmation (after receipt of the 2nd vaccination for the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines) to your local campus HR Representative. This information will be maintained in your personal health file as confirmation, and payroll will process and reward the incentive accordingly based upon the employee type: full time, part time or relief.
