Summer in South Dakota means it’s time to hit the links. And CHS was the winner at two recent Black Hills area golf tournaments!

The 35th Annual Rushmore Rotary Golf Tournament took place on July 29 at the Arrowhead Golf Course in Rapid City. Thanks to our generous sponsors and players, the benefit event raised $87,000 for Children's Home Child Advocacy Center. One of our largest donors, the Rotary Club of Rapid City Rushmore has raised more than $2.3 million for CHS since 1989.

At the Rushmore Rotary Golf Tournament, Kara Flynn, Director of Development stands with Jeffrey Meyer, Rotary Golf Tournament Chair; Heidi Bell Gease, Rushmore Rotary President; Jon Mammenga, CPO; Michelle Lavallee, President and CEO; and Mark Niemeyer, CAO.

CHS was also the beneficiary of Jackson Dental’s fifth annual golf tournament at the Belle Fourche Country Club. The event raised $15,704; Director of Development Kara Flynn accepted the generous donation on behalf of CHS.
