Q: Why was the position of COO not posted to external or internal candidates for consideration?

A: While we typically do post all our jobs internally and externally, it is the prerogative of the CEO for a position that reports directly to the CEO whether to post or not. For me, trust and transparency are of prime concern when serving on the executive team. And I have that with Allison. In addition, Allison has been working very closely with Deanna, at Deanna's request, for the past six months, receiving high marks for her ability to connect with team members. Allison has an outstanding background in overseeing large programs as well as in quality and licensing. I am fully confident in her abilities and am glad to have her on the team. Know that as we grow, there will be additional opportunities for those who wish to take the next step in their careers. Thank you for asking this important question.
