Volunteer at Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety
Each year Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety serves thousands of women, children, and families through our emergency shelter, crisis intervention services, and outreach programs. We can’t do it alone. As a volunteer, you can help families directly with client interaction or indirectly through administrative support or assisting at a fundraising event.
To ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals in our care, all volunteers who are in direct contact with our clients in Shelter must be at least 21 years old, pass background checks and a drug screen, fingerprinted and provide three references. Training is provided.
Thank you for your interest in our volunteer opportunities!
