This past December, CHS was informed that we were winners of the 2025 Vern Eide Mitsubishi Tradition of Caring in KELOLAND grant! This means CHS will be awarded $24,000 in airtime and advertising on KELO stations and their website.
The Marketing team was busy producing the first of three TV spots on location at BHCH and the new Rapid City campus last week. Under the direction of Videographer Dempsey Tapley, some very talented BHCH staff (and their relatives) were cast as extras. The first of these three TV spots will begin airing later this month.
The Marketing team extends a gigantic “thank you” to all the staff who brought their children to Rockerville to be extras in the commercial. We appreciate you all so much for braving the fog, wind and snow and coming into work on your day off. Your relatives were fabulous to work with and made the time go by quickly! We can’t wait to show you the promo once Dempsey is finished editing it together.
Thank you to all the staff who let us borrow their office décor. Your artwork, lamps, toys and seating made our sets look realistic and perfect. BIG thank you to all the RYCs on Sunday who were flexible with their schedules so Marketing could get the shots we needed for the commercial. We also want to give a huge shout-out to the dining hall staff, especially Cook Jacob Hiebert. Jacob, thank you for helping us make our lunch trays look real and for allowing us to make a mess in the dining area. We appreciate you all more than you know!
