Is it March or May? With all of the gorgeous weather we’ve been having, I can’t tell! Mother Nature is practically begging us to break out our flip-flops. And I can’t think of a better way to cool down from this “tropical weather” than by taking a plunge—the Polar Plunge!
That’s right folks, just like Black Hills, SFCH and Shelter will be creating a team for the Sioux Falls Polar Plunge supporting the Special Olympics of South Dakota. All proceeds go to Special Olympics and support more than 2,750 athletes across the state. This year’s Sioux Falls plunge is taking place on April 12 at Combined Pool and Spa—across the street from Scheels.
If you think you’re brave enough to take the plunge, then come join our team! The sign-up process is easy! All you need to do is raise at least $100 to plunge into the icy water.
We would love to have representation from every department—Shelter for Family Safety, Loving School, Van Demark Building, Madsen Building and Admin! If you’re interested in joining, please reach out to Krystal Schoenbauer or DJ Toczek, or follow the instructions below to sign up.
