Save Your Pop Tabs

Student Council at Loving School is asking that everyone start saving up their pop tabs.

The kiddos are very excited to collect tabs for the Ronald McDonald House and can’t wait to see how many they get.

This is an ongoing project for the Loving School kiddos, so tabs can be dropped off at Desiree Wolfe’s desk anytime.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provides a temporary home-like place for families to stay while their children are receiving medical care for an illness or injury. The organization offers lodging with close proximity to medical facilities while still having the comforts of home, at no cost to the families.

RMHC first opened in Philadelphia in 1974. Philadelphia Eagles player Fred Hill had a daughter battling leukemia and because of their experience with the illness, they decided to provide a place for families to stay while they were going through similar situations. The McDonald’s owner/operator in Philadelphia made the first House possible by donating the proceeds from the sales of Shamrock Shakes.
