Thursday may be Thanksgiving, but Friday marks the true beginning of the holly jolly season! Nothing sparks the holiday spirit like a steaming cup of hot cocoa and a parade of festive floats glowing with twinkle lights. Add in a surprise visit from Santa, and it just might be the most magical day of the year!

The 33^rd Annual Sioux Falls Parade of Lights kicks off on Friday, November 28, and if you look closely, you may spot CHS in the lineup in Phillips Avenue. Then on Saturday, November 29, if you’re on the west side of the state, come ring in the Christmas season at Rapid City’s 27^th Annual Winter Market. Enjoy holiday treats, ice skating and the official tree lighting before finding a spot along Main Street or St. Joseph Street for the Festival of Lights parade at 6 p.m. A dazzling lineup of holiday floats will illuminate the streets, including our own CHS “Hope” float!
