Owen School has teamed up with Nothing Bundt Cakes to make reading even 'sweeter'! The ABC Reading program encourages students to read 400 minutes each month. Read Owen School Teacher Heather Hoeye’s message below!

I am excited to share the progress of our reading initiative—The ABC Reading program. The program promotes reading by encouraging the kids to read 400 minutes each month and track the titles and time spent reading. All books must be approved by a classroom teacher or staff member to count.

After students complete their allotted reading time, they receive a complimentary mini-Bundt cake of their choice. As a bonus, students were allowed to go off-campus to select their cake. We are thrilled by the excitement and interest in reading that this has generated. Congratulations to all of our hardworking students this month!
