Special thanks to Melissa Jenkins, McKaela Larkin, and Sequoia Crosswhite for taking the time to make these videos for all of us to enjoy!

Meet Dana Vandenberg, the new Occupational Therapy student intern in Community Based Services at CHS in Rapid City. Originally from David City, Neb., Dana has lived in Vermillion for seven years and is currently earning a doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
“I am beyond excited to be here and have already learned so much from the staff at CHS since starting on Jan. 4,” Dana says. “I look forward to learning more about the services provided at CHS and how Occupational Therapy can play a role in supporting and collaborating with these services.”
Occupational therapy combines Dana’s love of people, creativity, science and education. “I find that I’m continuously inspired by patients’ resilience, their willingness and abilities to learn to new things—and the profession’s versatility in partnering with community programs, healthcare facilities and schools to serve a variety of populations,” she says.
