Focus Areas for a Flourishing Organization

CEO Michelle Lavallee announced that CHS has set high-level priorities to drive mission impact over the next couple of years. The four focus areas are People, Operational Excellence, Fundraising and Brand
Management, and Financial, along with two critical priorities: Black Hills Campus and Program Funding Optimization.

Michelle emphasized, “There are work plans under each of these priorities and focus areas, and this work cascades to encompass the work that you do!” She added that this information will be helpful for setting goals in performance reviews for the new fiscal year. Please reach out to Michelle with any questions. Click here for more.

ASK US: You Asked. We Answer.

Questions submitted in May to ASK US included these two. Watch next week’s GOOD WORKS Weekly for the more!

Q: Are the Surveys that are posted mandatory? Our manager emails our supervisor and tells him he wants 100 percent participation.

Q: It was announced at the All Hands that raises would include a 1% cost of living increase. It seems that is a low amount when compared to inflation. What is the reason for only a 1% cost of living increase?
