A Bright Start staff member wrote this poem of gratitude during the coronavirus days of uncertainty...

Finishing up my work day I received a text on my phone,
OH NO it is from CHS I moan…

Thinking the ugly coronavirus has made its way in,
I begin to read it slowly and then get goosebumps on my skin!

Instead I see “Hey CHS!”, my interest they have raised,
I read on to find words of support, appreciation and praise.

Not only taking care of women, children and families,
Children’s Home Society takes care of their Employees.

They come along beside us in a time of the unknown,
and place us upon their highest throne.

They say heck no coronavirus won’t bring us down,
together we will take care of our own “little town”.

So today I am sending my “town” a virtual hug,
to say thank you from the bottom of my coffee mug!
