Conference Room Technology Update (11/10/2023)

Technology Trainings Scheduled This Week

Installation of new conferencing technology in the Room With A View/Kitchen and the Board Room (SFCH Admin) is 99% complete–with only a few items such as camera mounts and hardware to exchange.

All functionality is available in both rooms and IT is ready to train CHS employees how to use the new technology. Two trainings are scheduled:

• Tuesday, November 14: 11am–12pm
• Friday, November 17: 1 pm–2 pm

IT staff will train all individuals who arrive at the scheduled times for this company-wide training. Individual trainings will not be scheduled.

Conference Room Technology Update (10/30/2023)

The IT Department continues to work in partnership with Mid States Audio & Video on the installation of new conferencing technology in Admin’s Room With a View and the Board Room. Mid States will be completing their work this week, Tuesday–Friday, October 31–Nov. 3. Once the technology is operational, trainings will be scheduled on the how to use the technology.

COMING SOON: Shelter for Family Safety will be next in line for technology updates.

The IT Department has been working with Mid States Audio & Video to provide functional, easy-to-use video conferencing for CHS.

A temporary solution is in place in the Room with a View at SFCH, and the vendor is waiting for delivery of additional equipment.

Mid States expects our equipment to arrive this month. Once it does, we will schedule installation at SFCH in the Room with a View and the Board Room and in the Shelter for Family Safety’s Conference Room. IT is planning for comparable solutions at BHCH and Messengers, and in smaller conference rooms at all campuses.

IT will inform staff when installation is scheduled. Following completion, IT will work with directors to ensure staff receive training to use the new equipment.
