Development Director Rick Weber gave an entertaining presentation to the Minnehaha County Historical Society last week. Rick took the audience all the way back to 1893, when Children’s Home Society was just beginning.
Audience members saw old photos, ask questions and listen to remarkable stories that Rick has collected throughout his 37 years at CHS.

Congratulations to Human Resource Representative Haley Sanow, and her husband, Tanner, who were married on Saturday, September 14. The bride and groom had a beautiful fairytale wedding and were glowing… literally.
“For anyone that knows me, they know I don’t like a lot of color–hence the black exterior and interior at the venue,” says Haley. “I wanted candles EVERWHERE! We ended up with about 365 candles, which really made the dark venue glow.”
Congratulations, Haley and Tanner!
