Wendy’s Frosty 5K

Some people love to run, and others only run for a good cause. No matter where you fall on the running scale, we can all agree that raising awareness for adoption is something worth moving for.

Wendy’s is hosting a virtual Frosty 5K to benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Registration starts at $25, and all proceeds support Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, a service that helps find permanent, loving families for South Dakota’s longest-waiting children in foster care, including teenagers, sibling groups and children with special needs.

You can run or walk the 3.1 miles anytime —or place—during August 8 through August 24. WWK Adoption Specialist Tina Graber is lacing up her tennis shoes for the run—and you can, too!
