Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic childhood events that can create dangerous levels of stress and can negatively impact the development of a child's brain and body. In partnership with the Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment, Children's Home Society has implemented the ACE Interface Program to provide information and understanding of ACEs, trauma, and resilience for communities statewide.

3. Paper Tigers: One High School's Unlikely Success Story
Paper Tigers is a film that chronicles a year in the life of an alternative high school whose students have a history of truancy, behavioral problems, and substance abuse. Upon learning about ACEs, their principal radically changes the school's approach to discipline.
