Dr. Brian Wilson, Chief Medical Officer at Children’ Home Society (CHS), now serves on six local, state and national committees, including a key role advising the state on Medicaid pharmaceutical policy. These appointments reflect his expertise in psychiatry and his commitment to ensuring that South Dakotans receive high-quality healthcare.
“I am honored to serve in these roles and to work alongside leaders who are focusing on improving health care across the state,” said Dr. Wilson. “I believe everyone in South Dakota should have access to good medical care. These appointments also reflect Children’s Home Society’s commitment to collaboration and strong partnerships with the state.”
Dr. Wilson was re-appointed to one committee and appointed to five new ones.
“We are incredibly proud of Dr. Wilson,” said Michelle Lavallee, President and CEO of CHS. “These appointments speak to the trust and respect he has earned as a physician and leader. His expertise is shaping decisions that directly affect the health of South Dakotans, and Children’s Home Society is grateful to have a voice at the table where change is happening.”
CHS looks forward to continuing its statewide mission of preventing, treating and healing trauma, supported by the leadership and expertise of its dedicated staff.
