Funny, sporty, spunky, caring, sweet and playful are just some of the many words to describe 8-year-old Noah. You will often find him outside throwing a football around—something Noah hopes to continue doing with his new family. He doesn’t have a favorite team, but one of Noah’s wishes is to someday play for the NFL.
Noah’s smile and laughter light up any room. He is a talented artist and an active child who would love the chance to participate in activities, be outside, play sports, and play games with his family.
He is in the 2nd grade for the 2020-2021 school year. Noah is a bright student and does well academically. He has been “star of the day” 13 times and is a good friend to his peers!
Noah’s wish is to have “a mom and a dad that takes care of me and a family that would play with me.” He would prefer to stay in South Dakota to be close to his two older siblings. Noah would love to have a pet and has even offered to help take care of it.
An adoptive family for Noah will need to have experience with and an understanding of the effects of trauma and loss on children. Noah will need to participate in individual and family therapy. It will also be crucial for his well-being to help maintain connections with his siblings.
NOTE: Noah is Native American and so only Native American families who are enrolled in a federally recognized tribe can be considered at this time.
