Sibling Group of 3
Are you ready for triple the excitement? Meet fun-loving siblings Estela, Mercedes, and Sergio! Estela, 16, loves being active whether she’s outside kicking around a soccer ball, playing volleyball or running track. She works at the local pizza joint and is interested in studying the weather. Mercedes, 15, loves to draw and has become an expert in making different kinds of slime. She is described as often being sweet and helpful. It takes her time to open up to others. Sergio, 14, is a bundle of energy with a contagious smile. He loves to joke around and benefits from staying busy playing football and basketball. All three look forward to riding horses, attending church camp and youth group together. They all have quite the sense of humor and you will often find them joking around.
For the 2020-2021 school year Estela is in the 11th grade, Mercedes is in the 9th grade, and Sergio is in 8th grade. These siblings receive varying levels of assistance in school. A family should have access to supports and services for developmental and learning needs. Parents should be knowledgeable about the effects of trauma on children. A family will need to be able to maintain a consistent, structured environment and provide support to these siblings as they transition to adulthood.
