For the past 35 years, Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety has been the beneficiary of proceeds from the Media One Funksi event. In that time, Funski has raised more than $1 million to support our programming at the Shelter. 

Starting in 1989 as a cross-country ski race and growing to a multi-event weekend, Media One Funski has supported CHSSD for many amazing years, but the time has come to forge ahead with new opportunities.

A mutual decision was made that Media One Funski will not be held in 2025. To have a single event for 35 years is remarkable, and we are grateful to Foundation board member Greg Blomberg and Media One, Great Bear Ski Valley, partners, sponsors, and participants. Many of you have taken part in the Funski events in the past and those memories will last a lifetime.

Although Media One Funski, as we know it, will not be held in 2025, we hope you will continue supporting Shelter for Family Safety.
