Did you know?
National statistics show that 90% of alleged child abuse offenders are a person the child knows and trusts. A person the family knows and trusts. Someone you may know and trust. According to the statistics at our own center, that percentage is even higher, year after year... The first step to preventing abuse is to increase awareness and education.
If a child has disclosed abuse,
help them end it.
You are not alone.
If your child has an interview scheduled, we understand that you may have a lot of questions regarding the process and what you can do to help your child. Rest assured, we are with you and your child every step of the way. To help you feel more prepared, we've compiled a list of common questions that parents have prior to their child's interview.
Together, we CAN prevent abuse.
