National statistics show that 90% of alleged child abuse offenders are a person the child knows and trusts. A person the family  knows and trusts. Someone you  may know and trust. According to the statistics at our own center, that percentage is even higher, year after year... The first step to preventing abuse is to increase awareness and education.
